Tecate App

The previous Tecate app was basically a glorified product locator. Our reimagined version needed to do a whole lot more, and then some. We wanted the app to be a destination for Tecate drinkers to keep coming back for the latest news and information on their favorite Mexican beer. From exclusive video content, details on upcoming boxing fights, soccer matches, chances to win limited edition Tecate gear and recipes for one of a kind Tecate drinks, our app was packed to the brim!

The most innovative aspect of our app was unlocked by simply scanning a Tecate. Consumers could play a boxing training game wherever and whenever. On your friends table top or at the local bar, this engaging augmented reality experience tied perfectly with the brands sponsorship of Canelo Alvarez one of boxings biggest names! Combining simple rhythm-mechanics with real-world environments, it was an experience unlike any other. And by sharing your high score via social media, consumers could receive additional rebates on their next Tecate purchase.
